Postgraduate Research Programmes (PGR) launches the SMU PhD microsite

The SMU PhD microsite was launched on 31 October 2012. The site has been designed to cater to the local and international audience interested in learning more about SMU’s PhD programmes and work as well as for our current PhD students and faculty. In the month of March 2013, that is, within five months from its launch, the microsite garnered 4,300 page views. The highlights of the site include:

• about SMU’s PhD programmes
• about research assistantships, teaching assistantships, and internships
• students’ experiences
• students’ list of publications
• students’ research achievements
• SMU PhD graduates and their career choices

The PGR team will periodically continue to update the microsite with fresh content. We even plan to develop interesting online videos, so do look out for them.
