The OUB Professorial Chair was established in 1999 by OUB Bank in conjunction with the bank’s 50th anniversary celebrations. The purpose is to help build the University’s research capabilities and to fulfil its vision for the advancement of education. It also provides an opportunity for SMU to acknowledge and recognise distinguished professors in their areas of teaching, research and publication. |

The Celia Moh Professorial Chair was established in Year 2000 by the late Mr Laurence Moh, former Chairman of Plantation Timber Products, in honour of his wife Celia Moh to commemorate their 40th wedding anniversary.
