SMU establishes new research lab with Ping An Technology to focus on ‘Big Data’

Jointly established between Ping An Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. and SMU, the Ping An–SMU Research Lab is aimed at promoting research, as well as application and technology transfer focusing on the theme of ‘Big Data’.

The team of researchers from SMU, led by Assistant Professor Zhu Feida from the School of Information Systems, will work with the researchers from Ping An Technology on key areas of social media and social network analytics, and will link this to existing business needs, as well as new business opportunities.
